The course will be a mix of lectures, workshops, group discussions, interactive exercises, small group work, and embodied practices and assignments. Some of which are required and lots of which are optional. You get to choose the depth of your engagement and healing outside of the course.

Every ecosystem has space for the slow and unfolding purpose of each plant on its own pace. Beings who cannot sustain the material wellbeing of the course are still vital to its flourishing.  To these ends, we are sponsoring 20 low income, Black, Indigenous, People of Color with a $500 grant towards their course tuition. Grants are limited and available on a first come first serve basis. 3 Monthly Payments of $125 for a total of $375.

do i have to PARTICIPATE in the practices?

You don't have to do anything. Learning outcomes in this course are achieved through experimentation. We want you to "see" it to believe it. Please consult with your healthcare practitioner before taking on any new practices and know that our projects center remedies that are simple and safe.

Are the sessions recorded?

Yes! And you can access the material for the life of the course. 

What are the anticipated supply and Material costs?

Expect to spend an additional $150 on herbal and medicine making supplies if you do not already have them. 
     
Empowered embodied wisdom includes the ability to navigate the supply chain with ease and discernment. You will be coached on selecting quality herbs from major suppliers, local botanicas, independent medicine makers and each other. This will allow you to save money and be empowered in your own healing.

All attendees will be given access to special discount codes and wholesale opportunities. 

Students can also request financial assistance from our pool of sponsorship and benefactor funds.

Do students finish this course?

Yes and no. Most students participate in all of the opportunities for learning provided. The learning of this course continues every year as you become more and more adept at using your winter medicine bag.
